Spring Fling

Spring Fling is a joyful celebration of the season’s return—where fresh blooms, vibrant color, and layered texture come together in a chinoiserie-inspired composition. Created in my signature mixed media style, this piece features hand-collaged papers, including vintage ephemera, paired with acrylics, pastels, and hand-drawn details.

I’ve always been drawn to pinks and greens, especially in spring—they feel fresh, feminine, and full of life. In this painting, a bold blue vessel anchors an abundant arrangement of florals, each petal and leaf built from carefully selected collage fragments. Up close, you’ll find hints of pattern, text, and unexpected details that add depth and personality to the piece.
